Valerie is a Christian, Author, Motivational Speaker, Mentor, Entrepreneur and Family Focused Woman.
Since 2004, she has been the Executive Director of Very Positive Outlook, a Fatherhood Consulting Company, where she develops, markets and often facilitates workshops that promote a positive correlation between male involvement and student academic success.
Valerie has taught in public education for nine years and has taught for Northwood University as a guest Marketing and International Business Professor for thirteen years.
Valerie has self-published 3 books in her bilingual children's book series entitled Where's my Daddy? She is a columnist for the WORD UP Magazine, and has delivered several keynote addresses to cancer survivors, regional teacher conferences, rehabilitation centers, and churches, to name a few.
In 2009, Very Positive Outlook served 1,918 fathers and children with the exciting and motivating Reading with Dads Workshop.
She is able to customize her message and workshops to suit the needs of most schools, businesses, organizations using her experience, in business, education and people.
Valerie loves to read, laugh and encourage people.
